The joint statement by Akron-AAUP and UA on RTP guidelines is available here. A new template for departmental RTP guidelines is available here. We hope the approval process can be completed by semester's end.
As guidelines are approved they'll be posted here for reference.
RTP is covered in Article 13 of the new contract, pages 27-52.
Chair Review guidelines
Chair Review procedures are detailed in the collective bargaining agreement Article 10 Governance, Section 5, pp.10-11.

Merit Review Guidelines
Merit Review procedures are detailed in the collective bargaining agreement Article 16 Compensation, Section 8, pp.81-84.
On February 7, 2008 the last of the Merit Review guidelines were approved. The entire process, dating from the signing of the collective bargaining agreement, took two years, two months and seven days.
