DESCRIPTION:All hands on deck! Join us for a rally and press conference before the University of Akron Board of Trustees meeting. Our event is:\nWEDNESDAY\, JULY 15th @ NOON.  \nWe’ll meet at the Buchtel Hall steps for the press conference\, which will feature Pam Schulze\, President of Akron-AAUP. Additional speakers are TBA. \nWear your Akron-AAUP t-shirts (or white or yellow clothing). Wear your AAUP buttons if you have them. We will have Akron-AAUP t-shirts for sale for $10 at the event. Bring signs in support of the academic mission of UA. \nIn light of the health risks to gathering in large groups\, we ask that you please maintain a safe distance from each other of at least six feet and wear masks. Please also note that the Student Union is not accessible for use — we will not be permitted to enter the building for any reason.\nBring a friend\, feel free to share on social media\, and thank you in advance for spreading the word to your colleagues! \nIn Solidarity\,\nThe Communications Committee of Akron-AAUP\nP.S.
