Agreements are tentative until they are presented to the members for discussion and a vote, and ultimately ratified by the Akron-AAUP membership and the University of Akron Board of Trustees.
- Major Tentative Agreements for Ratification. The most substantial changes to the current CBA, including Articles 15, 16, 17 and 29.
- “Big Exhibit A” – Here you will see contract language clean-up and clarifications throughout the CBA. Note on page 1 several articles are listed as ‘open issues’- this simply reflects the state of those articles when this TA was signed. There are no remaining open issues in the agreement.
- “Little Exhibit A” – a group of changes initially agreed to in early 2020, before COVID.
- Title IX MOU and Distance Education Grievance Settlement – New items that are not part of the actual CBA text.
