The Akron-AAUP Executive Committee and Crisis Negotiating Team are aware of the unrest and anxiety on campus brought about by statements coming from the administration. Although there is little concrete information to provide at this point, we will be scheduling virtual town hall meetings by college in order to hear the specific concerns of faculty so that we may be informed in negotiations.
