Liaison Council Meeting: Wednesday October 3

Wednesday, October 3rd, all departmental liaisons will meet in room 308 of the Student Center from 3:00p.m. until 4:30p.m. to: 1) elect two Liaison Representatives to the Akron AAUP Executive Committee and 2) to discuss expectations and responsibilities of the 2012-1013 liaison council. Refreshments will be available.
Please mark your calendars. This is a great opportunity for those of you who are currently involved in YOUR union, to become even more involved in the day to day Akron AAUP decision making as well as the planning for this years Contract Negotions. We want your ideas and voice. 
If you are interested in becoming a liaison representative to the Executive Committee, nominate yourself at the October 3rd liaison meeting, or contact the current liaison EC members (Rudy Fenwick at 6880, or Pam Schulze at 7725) to nominate yourself prior to the meeting, or have another liaison nominate you.
