The Administration of The University of Akron and the Akron Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (Akron-AAUP) jointly announce that they have reached tentative agreement on a new contract.
The tentative agreement now is to be considered for ratification by the membership of the Akron-AAUP and approval by the University’s Board of Trustees.
The Akron-AAUP will complete its ratification process on Friday, Sept. 13, and if ratified, the Board of Trustees will vote on Monday, Sept. 16.
